Contract Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to the Commercial Manager in contract formation, inbound and outbound commercial correspondence, and leading discussions at monthly contractor meetings. They will foster strong relationships across all levels to ensure comprehensive contracts management, including:

  • Advising on contractual obligations, main contract administration, and entitlement for cost and time
  • Modifying template subcontracts, supply agreements, and hire agreements for compliance with project-specific main contracts
  • Reviewing, amending, and negotiating departures from subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers of plant, equipment, materials, and labor
  • Resolving contentious subcontract negotiations, claims, and disputes
  • Delivering and managing contract and subcontract administration
  • Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., project team, commercial team etc.) and external stakeholders such as subcontractors and their commercial management.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Commerce, or a related field and 6+ years' experience in contracts management or commercial management within civil construction/infrastructure.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
