Podiatrist Role in Community Health

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Podiatrist to join our Integrated Primary Health Service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of Comprehensive Podiatry Services: Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients, including biomechanical assessment, diabetes foot care, and high-risk foot care.
  • Collaboration with Other Health Professionals: Work effectively with other health professionals to support clients across various funding streams.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and have opportunities for research and workforce innovation.
  • Junior Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior staff and students (Grade 2 role).
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Podiatry: A relevant degree in podiatry is essential.
  • AHPRA Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is required.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Clinical Reasoning Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Passion for Community Healthcare: A genuine interest in community healthcare and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
