Warehouse Manager

The role of the Warehouse Operations Leader is to oversee the various functions of the warehouse, ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. This position requires extensive knowledge about all operating procedures in order to assure the quality of the CSS procedures.
Responsibilities include directing the workflow, motivating, training and monitoring the performance of warehouse associates involved in the Distribution Center's day-to-day functions. The Warehouse Operations Leader will also assist in the process of selection, training, career development and performance management for the Distribution Center associates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directing the workflow and motivating warehouse associates
- Training and developing warehouse staff
- Monitoring work processes and making suggestions for modifications to increase productivity and efficiency
- Overseeing the Distribution Centers department staff working in the Inbound and Outbound teams as well as Inventory management
Requirements for the Warehouse Operations Leader include a Logistics Degree or equivalent work experience. Three or more years of experience in Operations/Logistics or Warehousing are required, along with experience in receiving/put away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack process from initial order to completion.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the sensitivity of handling pharmaceutical products and working with and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They will also be able to promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplace and take reasonable care of, and cooperate with actions taken to protect; the health and safety of both themselves and others.
Key qualifications for the Warehouse Operations Leader include:
- Logistics degree or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of experience in Operations/Logistics or Warehousing
- Experience in receiving/put away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack process from initial order to completion
