Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director to lead complex secondary systems projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction. This role involves acting as a Project Lead and Technical Authority, preparing and reviewing detailed design drawings, and leading project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Project Lead and Technical Authority on secondary systems projects.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off on detailed design drawings, protection reports, and relay configurations to meet Australian Standards and client requirements.
  • Lead project teams, oversee timelines and budgets, with continued guidance and support to peer engineers.
  • Serve as a client-facing contact, providing advice, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring clear, professional communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive technical competency and leadership experience in secondary protection and control system projects.
  • Proven experience in detailed design, preparation of protection reports, preparation of relay configurations, and review/sign-off of technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of transmission and distribution system protection and control in accordance with Australian Standards.
  • Experience in Transmission Network Service Providers within Australia is highly coveted.
