Job Description

A senior leader is required to spearhead a team of data scientists in the development of AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science and AI, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of data scientists to deliver projects and outcomes for the business.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive value with AI solutions.
  • Working with technical experts to lead their teams and work towards the best solutions for the development of AI.
  • Defining and owning capability uplift roadmaps to drive excellence and innovation across data science and decision science.
  • Managing multiple initiatives concurrently to completion.
  • Presenting solutions to senior business and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends in data analytics, data science, and technology and sharing findings with the team.
  • Establishing data governance standards and processes, ensuring that data is accurate and reliable.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated technical experience developing machine learning/deep learning/generative AI systems, leading AI work or teams, and passion for novel research in AI, emerging tech, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical experience in machine learning/deep learning/gen AI.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Experience in conducting research.
  • Team management and direct people management.
