Established in the northern and central regions of Adelaide, Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Service is a leading provider of culturally sensitive services. Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people by delivering comprehensive programs across four sites.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing reception services, and maintaining confidentiality. The roles involve working with clients and escorts accessing our facilities, providing social, cultural, and practical support. As an Aboriginal Hostel Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from rural and remote areas receiving medical treatment away from home.

The Kanggawodli hostel provides 32 beds of culturally safe accommodation for Aboriginal consumers visiting Adelaide for clinical appointments and medical treatment. Key Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant field (e.g., Administration, Community Services)
- Experience working in administration or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal clients
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and community needs
- Availability for shift work
Salary: $28.52 - $31.80 per hour + 25% loading AND relevant shift loading – WHA3 – Casual up to 6 months
Estimated Annual Salary: Approximately $59,000 - $65,700 based on a 38-hour workweek and 40 weeks worked per year.
