We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a rural healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have experience in rural nursing and emergency care, strong triage skills, and proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a rural and emergency environment.
  • Conduct effective triage to assess and prioritize patient needs.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to accurately document patient information and manage medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Provide emergency care and support in various situations as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience in rural nursing and emergency care settings.
  • Demonstrated triage experience and ability to manage urgent patient needs.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems.
  • ALS, BLS, Resus, and Triage certificates.
  • Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK).
  • Manual and patient handling.
  • Infection control.
  • Aggressive behavior management.
  • Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses and/or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect.
  • Medications management, including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations.
  • AHPRA Registration (must be current).
  • National Police Check.
  • Australian Immunisation History.
