We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Paediatric Emergency Department team at Joondalup Health Campus.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patients, predominantly in our paediatric area. Your role will involve assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating care delivery needs of each patient, contributing to team functioning and decision making, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized patient care that meets the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients and their families
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participating in clinical and unit-based decision making to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with paediatric experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Comprehensive Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
- Demonstrated relevant clinical skills and knowledge in Paediatric Emergency or Paediatric Critical Care
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
- Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, and work as a team member with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months. Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
