About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Chubb Fire & Security Australia. As a key member of our Alice Springs team, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by ensuring our technicians have the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment, and processes to carry out their duties in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and organisational management to a team of up to 3 fire alarm technicians.
  • Ensure that the performance of the team meets key indicators.
  • Ensure workload and responsibilities are shared across the field service team.
  • Manage material levels and ensure that the inventory is at correct levels.
  • Responsible for team and individual training and professional growth.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being a first point of contact for clients on site.

About You

  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR).
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Current Electrical Licence is preferred or willing to obtain with in-house training.
  • A construction industry White Card and Open Cable Licence (or the ability to obtain).
  • An experienced Service Manager, with a proven track record of managing people and teams.
  • A strong technical background in electrical service in the Fire Protection industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of field fire technicians.
  • A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fire detection systems, installation, and maintenance.
  • Fire detection Systems Installation and Sales Tender process and experience.
  • Proven track record in meeting KPI's and an understanding and ability to read profit and loss statements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment.
  • Professional, proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills as required.
  • Predisposition to take action to improve results or create opportunities.
  • High quality, EH&S, and Ethical standards.
  • Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
