About Moonlight Cinemas

Moonlight Cinemas is a leading outdoor cinema experience in Australia, seeking a skilled Assistant Venue Manager to lead operations at our Adelaide venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, including setup and pack-down.
  • Support the Venue Manager in managing bump-in and bump-out production schedules.
  • Lead a team of approximately 30 onsite crew members, working closely with the Venue Manager.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and development.
  • Manage F&B operations, including ordering, invoice entry, and stock control.
  • Assist with the execution of sponsorship activations and deliverables.
  • Rostering and payroll management.
  • Accountability for AV operation, including screen setup and content management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a management/supervisor position.
  • Previous experience in Food and Beverage and customer service.
  • Previous cinema or event management experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a casual workforce.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards work.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to take ownership and problem solve.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • SA Drivers Licence.
