We are looking for a Risk Assessment Analyst to become part of our team. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities across various commercial insurance sectors, aiding both pricing strategies and portfolio oversight. The successful applicant will engage with both property and non-property insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyzing and modeling risk data utilizing third-party and proprietary catastrophe modeling tools Collaborating closely with underwriters to interpret catastrophe model analyses for global risk selection Assisting in the enhancement of our risk management strategies for unmodeled perils and regions Supporting the data aggregation process and relevant reporting needs for the Commercial division, including compliance monitoring against internal and external thresholds Aiding in the data collection and monitoring of risks for non-property business lines

Desired Skills and Experience:

Strong comprehension of essential mathematical and statistical concepts, with the ability to convey these to a non-technical audience Exceptional attention to detail and a curious, analytical mindset—an enthusiasm for deconstructing and understanding processes Proficient written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving capabilities along with analytical and research skills Experience in handling large datasets is preferred
