Education Support Class Position

This role requires a highly motivated and empathetic individual to work closely with teachers and provide essential support for students with special needs.
The primary goal is to ensure that staff are informed of students' progress, wellbeing and learning needs through effective communication and planning. The Integration Aide will be responsible for assisting students on an individual or group basis in specific learning areas, providing routine support for teachers and participating in team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist students with specific learning needs
- Provide support for teachers and contribute to the coordination of education support class staff within the work area or educational program
- Communicate effectively between students and teachers, particularly regarding instructions
- Offer basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, including toileting, meals and lifting
- Address immediate behavioral presentations relating to specific students in a classroom setting aligned to school policy and procedure
Under supervision and direction, this role may involve tasks carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice and school policy. An education support class position at this level requires cooperation and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
