Account Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill this key role in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for retaining existing customer relationships and achieving sales targets, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain existing customers and achieve sales targets, including volume, margin, and product group objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and input data into the system.
  • Complete and submit monthly sales reports, tracking performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Identify load build opportunities within the geographic area and pass leads to relevant personnel for follow-up.
  • Re-sign customer accounts as they fall due, prepare a business approval model for all re-signs, and follow established procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the customer information base via appropriate system screens and develop trade alliances to ensure they are well serviced.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • TWO TO THREE YEARS OF FIELD SALES EXPERIENCE.
  • A CLEAN AND VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
  • STRONG CUSTOMER FOCUS AND RESULTS-ORIENTED MINDSET.
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
