Job Title: Executive Governance Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

About the Role:

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Governance Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate governance arrangements and business management operations, including decision-making, referrals, delegations, and conflicts of interest.
  • Prepare and review meeting papers, such as agendas, reports, and minutes, to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
  • Establish and maintain procedures and registers to support critical governance arrangements and business management operations.
  • Sourcing and collating information to aid in the production of timely and accurate reports to ECG Leadership and Commission.
  • Oversee the establishment of new ECG matters in CRM and coordinate ECG Business Plan reporting in relevant systems through engagement with various stakeholders.
  • Support the Senior Manager through coordination of parliamentary liaison briefings and other external reporting requirements and coordinating ECG staff offsites and periodic forums.
About You:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business or business management experience in a regulatory agency, legal services, or professional services environment.
  • Experience with organizing meetings and providing senior administrative, business management, and/or secretariat services.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in effectively presenting information to different target audiences through strong business writing skills.
  • Excellent customer service and internal stakeholder management experience, including building, maintaining, and utilizing networks and relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for analyzing, investigating, and resolving stakeholder and system issues.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight timeframes, manage competing demands, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, and information management systems (SharePoint experience desirable).
