Acute Care Nursing Opportunity
Are you a skilled and ambitious enrolled nurse seeking to enhance your career in the acute hospital environment? This exciting opportunity is designed to provide you with the necessary training and support to succeed in this challenging and rewarding field.
We are offering a unique chance for an enrolled nurse to gain valuable experience and skills through our innovative Transition to Acute Care Nursing Program. This comprehensive program is tailored to meet the needs of experienced nurses like yourself, providing a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
The program is built around a market-leading 8-week framework, with participants joining our team on a part-time basis (approx 60 hours per fortnight). Upon completion, you will be equipped with the skills and confidence to excel in this demanding yet fulfilling role.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who have:
- Permanent work rights within Australia with no restrictions
- A Working with Children Check, National Police Check or be willing to obtain
- At least two years of EN experience post registration in rehabilitation, aged care or community nursing
- Enrolled nurse qualifications with current AHPRA registration
- A genuine passion to transition into the acute hospital environment and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a changing clinical landscape
- The ability to commit to a rotating roster including AM, PM/nights, weekends and public holidays, with shifts ranging from 7.6 to 9 hours
