Are you passionate about supporting older adults in their daily lives? As a Personal Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine interest in elderly care. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Registered Nurses, assisting residents with their daily living activities to enhance their well-being and ensure care delivery is to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in aged care, preferably with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. They will also possess effective communication skills, reliability to work to a roster, and basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Residents: Assist residents in living the life they choose by allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
  • Enhance Quality of Life: Contribute to the overall quality of life of our residents, focusing on physical, emotional, and lifestyle interests.
  • Implement Clinical Interventions: Implement clinical and care interventions delegated by the Registered Nurses, as documented in the residents' care plan.
  • Prioritize Workloads: Prioritize workloads effectively and deliver care with dignity and compassion.
  • Respect Resident Dignity: Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and choice at all times.
Requirements:
  • Aged Care Experience: Experience working in aged care, preferably with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Reliability: Reliability to work to a roster, with set shifts and basic computer skills.
  • Certificate III: Possession of a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
