Safeguarding Cold Chain Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality refrigeration and air conditioning services across the mine site.

Key responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems, servicing commercial kitchen equipment, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current QLD ARC Refrigeration and Handling Licence, Restricted Electrical Licence, and Manual Driver's Licence. Additional certifications such as LVR & CPR, Forklift, EWP, and Working at Heights are highly regarded.

Experience with commercial package unit air conditioners and working in remote or mining environments is essential. You must be a strong problem-solver, safety-focused, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
