Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at IPAR, a leading provider of occupational rehabilitation services. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping individuals return to work and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: Manage caseloads and work collaboratively with Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.
- Return to Work Outcomes: Apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
- Injury Prevention and Education: Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assessments and Evaluations: Complete a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy.
- Registration and Accreditation: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Communication and Time Management: Strong communication skills and excellent time management skills to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: A desire to problem-solve and be innovative, with the confidence to use your initiative and achieve results.
- Passion for Injury Prevention: A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits.
- Driver's License and Vehicle: A current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
