About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Carpenter, working under the direction of the Site Supervisor. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry work, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Participate in safety initiatives and take proactive steps to identify and address potential hazards
  • Undertake allocated tasks with attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards
  • Model excellent workplace behaviors, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and industry partners
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
  • Implement and promote company policies, procedures, and systems
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
  • Perform other duties as required, in support of the team's workload and objectives

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the construction industry, with a focus on carpentry
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications, including Carpentry and the General Induction to the Construction Industry Card (White Card)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
