ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Environmental Advisor in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for an environmentally conscious individual to make a positive impact on the environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability across operations.
- Support delivery of sustainability action plans and offer expert advice to internal stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Conduct environmental audits, assessments, and inspections to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Investigate environmental incidents, develop insights, and implement appropriate actions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field with relevant certifications.
- 3+ years proven experience in environmental sustainability with sound knowledge of legislation and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to collect, analyse, and interpret environmental data.
