Lead Educator Role

We're seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team, working across various locations in Australia. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' experience in this role, with full-time availability (5 days per week, including opening and closing shifts).

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work alongside the Centre Director and Educational Leader to design and deliver high-quality, culturally responsive learning experiences for children.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators within a room, focusing on individual development and mentoring to ensure the highest standards of care and supervision.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs.
  • Create a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment.
  • Nurture our team members, empowering them to confidently contribute to our children's learning journeys.
  • Build trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management, and community stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with EYLF and NQS standards, aiming to exceed expectations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Qualification (ACECQA recognised)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Lead Educator
  • Availability to work 5 days per week across opening and closing shifts
  • Current certificates: First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications
  • Working with Children Check, current
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and interpersonal skills
