Senior Occupational Therapist Role Summary

An exciting career opportunity has become available for a motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic inpatient stroke and neurological rehabilitation setting.

About the Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent position at Joondalup Health Campus, offering a chance to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

  • The successful candidate will have advanced clinical skills in acute/subacute stroke and neurological rehabilitation, with experience in evidence-based assessments and interventions aligned with best practice guidelines.

This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with minimum 3 years' proven experience in stroke rehabilitation, preferably in an acute setting.

  • You must have the capacity to lead and mentor a team, effectively communicate and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with quality improvement and/or research projects would be highly regarded.
