Job Summary



As a critical member of our Quantitative Science Services (QSS) team, the Director, Pharmacometrics will drive growth and continuous improvement in our pharmacometrics organization. This role will focus on achieving strategic and business objectives through optimal impact in all client engagements. You will drive critical efforts in targeted recruitment, resource allocation, and consultant skills development. You will work closely with the Global Lead of QSS to determine and implement business process strategies across the team, interfacing with Commercial & Operations teams.



Responsibilities


  • Lead complex projects, including hands-on contributions to select projects. Serve as a senior resource for project teams, reviewing work product and discussing project strategy.
  • Coordinate QSS leadership meetings, driving agendas and optimizing meeting cadence. Be the point person for resource allocation issues across QSS.
  • Develop robust yet nimble resourcing approaches for PMx projects, partnering with Operations to identify and address utilization imbalances.
  • Support IDD Operations with operational process implementation and optimization within QSS.
  • Coordinate recruitment for QSS, ensuring hiring targets and maintaining organizational balance.
  • Lead special projects to strengthen QSS consultancy operations globally.
  • Identify SMEs for scoping calls, collaborating with the Business Development team.
  • Provide business mentorship to QSS team members, fostering adoption of key consultant skills and contributing to Scopes of Work development.


Qualifications


  • PhD, MD, or PharmD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of industry/consulting experience, combining academic research and real-world expertise.
  • Strong understanding of multiple modeling and simulation techniques (e.g., PopPK, PKPD, MBMA, statistical modeling) and multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Experience in moving compounds through development phases, regulatory filings, and clinical trial design and conduct.
  • Proven skills and experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in project team settings.
  • Strong understanding of key success factors for a pharmacometrics consultancy enterprise.
  • Experience in business metrics development and utilization, business strategy, and offerings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
