Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our finance function and playing a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls and risk management systems to ensure the company's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the company's capital structure and funding requirements, including raising debt and equity financing as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters to senior management and the board of directors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and a professional certification such as CPA or CA.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with expertise in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial software systems, including ERP and financial planning tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
