Job Summary

We are seeking a registered psychologist to join our expanding practice in Berwick as an independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to grow their own therapy business within a supportive environment.

About the Role

This position involves working with adolescents and adults, providing a range of psychological services including hypnotherapy and EMDR. As an independent contractor, you will have full control over your client caseload and business direction.

The ideal candidate will be a warm and authentic practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality care. They will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Develop and maintain a client base through effective marketing and networking strategies
  • Work collaboratively with other practitioners to provide a comprehensive range of services
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AHPRA registration as a psychologist
  • Experience in hypnotherapy and EMDR (desired but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Non-judgmental approach to therapy
