We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing - Medical Recruitment Specialists. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing psychological services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, catering to a wide range of psychological issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.
- Offer crisis intervention and support, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration.
- Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs.
- Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations.
- Experience in providing clinical and/or behavior assessment, intervention, and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and/or other relevant sectors.
- Experience working with individuals who have had contact with the juvenile justice or criminal justice system is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
- A current Driver's Licence.
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks.
- Willingness to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.
