A Maintenance Fitter Opportunity in Kunda Park

The role we are seeking to fill is that of a skilled Maintenance Fitter who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy industry equipment and be able to apply their technical expertise to plant maintenance and production requirements.

  • Mold Configuration: As part of this role, you will be responsible for configuring molds to meet production requirements.
  • Welding: You will also be required to perform welding tasks to maintain equipment and ensure product quality.
  • General Maintenance: General maintenance duties will include performing routine checks and repairs on plant equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Front End Loader Operations: In this role, you may be required to operate front end loaders to assist with material handling.
  • Production Support: Your technical expertise will be essential in supporting production operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Tertiary Qualifications: You should hold relevant tertiary qualifications or a related discipline.
  • High Risk Licence: A high risk licence would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Proven Background: Proven background in general maintenance is crucial for this role.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively communicate with the team and management.
  • Ability To Work Independently/As Part Of A Team: You should be able to work effectively unsupervised while also contributing to a team environment.
