The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mobile Service Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repairing of plant and machinery to our customers. This will involve traveling to sites within Yatala and surrounding areas to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, accurate, and high-quality field service and repairing of plant and machinery to customers
  • Travel to sites within Yatala and surrounding areas to replace hoses or complete new installation work
  • Operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately
  • Provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers
  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster and report to the Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Trade or field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately
  • Good numeracy, verbal, and written skills
  • Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and problem-solve
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence)
  • Flexibility with working hours, including after-hours availability
