We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Youth Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support and care to children and young people living in Intensive Therapeutic Care homes across Newcastle. They will need to develop a caring and trusting relationship with each young person and meet their day-to-day needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support and care to children and young people
  • Meet the day-to-day needs of the young people and work within legislative requirements
  • Facilitate activities that promote the well-being and empowerment of the young people
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the young people
