We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team at the Exchange Hotel Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests.

• Ensure the consistency of all menu items, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Work effectively with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth delivery of food to guests, managing food operations and inventory.
• Liaise with the kitchen team to minimize wastage and maintain stock control, adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment to achieve required results, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with the Chef to advance and improve current food operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food preparation and production.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

We offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $76,000, commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience. As a member of our team, you can expect opportunities for training and pathways for promotion within the business.
