Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at one of the largest glass plants in the Southern Hemisphere. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

Requirements

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or a related field
  • Heavy industrial maintenance experience and basic stick welding skills
  • Proof of Work Rights in Australia
  • SA Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Good attitude and safety record
  • Ability to pass a full medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
