We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Assets and Works Management project. This is a complex technology and business change project that requires strong leadership and project management skills.

About the Role

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project team and ensuring the successful delivery of the project. This will involve:

  • Developing and maintaining the project plan, including schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and issues
  • Managing the project budget and ensuring that expenditure is within agreed spending plans
  • Scheduling, reviewing, and evaluating project progress, and reporting on such to key stakeholders and project governance bodies
  • Undertaking vendor and contract management required for the delivery of the project

You will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of the project. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including the client and project sponsors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager in a dynamic, complex public sector environment
  • Exceptional communication, engagement, and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinking, research, and critical evaluation skills, and a sound understanding of business case development and program and project management methodologies
  • High-level skills in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, reports, and resource plans
  • Knowledge of the systems delivery lifecycle and proven experience in the configuration, testing, and deployment of applications and systems integration
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a multidiscipline project team from project initiation through to closure
