**School Maintenance Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a School Maintenance Person at Oberon Primary School in Geelong.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and has experience in building & grounds maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine tasks, including maintenance and light repairs, as directed by the Principal and Business Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently without direct supervision, follow directions, and complete requests in a timely manner. They will also possess strong communication skills, be punctual, and reliable.

As a member of our school community, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our school facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of our students and staff. You will work closely with our principal and business manager to prioritize tasks and ensure that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing buildings and grounds.
  • Carry out light repairs and maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Work closely with the Principal and Business Manager to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient completion of maintenance work.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operation of the school.
