Medical Physicist Position

We are seeking a Medical Physicist to join our team in delivering exceptional, safe, and connected healthcare for our patients, community, and staff.

This is an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing effective radiation therapy physics services and collaborating across various sites within the SA Health system.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality assurance and calibration services for radiation oncology equipment.
  • Develop and implement planning algorithms for radiation therapy treatment.
  • Supervise and educate multidisciplinary teams on medical physics principles and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong knowledge of medical physics principles, including quality assurance, radiation protection, and linear accelerator operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing effective radiation therapy physics services and supervising multidisciplinary teams.
  • Eligibility to perform calibration, quality assurance, and radiation safety procedures in radiation oncology, as per South Australian licensing requirements.
