Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NDD, Combo Truck operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating water jet/vac excavation combo trucks, ensuring all tasks are carried out in compliance with legislative and client requirements, and internal company quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate water jet/vac excavation combo trucks throughout the Greater Melbourne Region.
  • Operate vacuum excavation equipment and non-destructive digging techniques.
  • Perform basic daily vehicle and plant cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with legislative and client requirements and internal company quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in drain cleaning, jetting, and sewer and stormwater pipe maintenance.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sewerage systems and infrastructure.
  • Ability to read basic construction plans and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a high level of motivation.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety directions.
  • Well-presented and highly organized.

Licenses and Qualifications

  • Construction Induction Card (Red/White Card).
  • Victorian Heavy Vehicle Driver's License.
  • Operate a high-pressure water jetting system (Preferred).
