Job Title: High Voltage Line Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Line Mechanic to join our team. As a linesman/linesperson, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of high voltage power lines and associated infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working outdoors and enjoys a challenge. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including substation upgrades, overhead line construction, underground operations, and asset relocation.

  • Substation upgrades – Kiosk, Chamber, and Pole Top
  • Overhead & line construction
  • Underground operations – Trench excavation and Cabling
  • High/Low Voltage Asset Relocation
  • Earthing grid installation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent)
  • Experience in both overhead and underground line work
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a team
  • Project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • A truck license and EWP ticket are desirable but not essential
