We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing care and support to NDIS participants and elderly individuals, assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised care and support to NDIS participants and elderly clients in their homes or community settings.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
  • Support clients with mobility, medication reminders, and companionship.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary requirements.
  • Transport clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings using your own vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centred care.
Requirements
  • Own a reliable vehicle with a valid full driver's license.
  • Experience in providing care and support to NDIS participants or elderly individuals (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to cook and prepare meals according to clients' dietary needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and aged care standards.
  • Experience working with clients with complex needs or disabilities.
