Job Summary
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team, providing nursing services and support to clients with disabilities. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and support, promoting independence and confidence in our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Promoting Independence
- Assist clients to regain confidence and engage in meaningful activities
- Nursing Services
- Provide nursing services, including catheter management, wound care, enteral feed management, diabetes management, and seizure management
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other staff and qualified practitioners to provide proactive person-centred service and support
- Medication Administration
- Administer medications in a timely and safe manner, in accordance with scope of practice
- Support and Guidance
- Provide assistance, guidance, direction, support, mentoring, and coaching to support workers on each shift
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain current knowledge of contemporary best practice clinical care within the scope of enrolled nursing practice
- Report incidents and risks in a timely manner
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent, including holding an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Medication Endorsed Enrolment registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current NDIS Workers Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Unrestricted Driver's License
