Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team on Project Ceres in Karratha. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement and construction elements of the Material Handling Package.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.
  • Responsible for complying with required technically acceptable standard of work for the discipline group and producing engineering design deliverables for project execution.
  • Delegate as necessary, while working within the framework and policies and higher delegations of the business.
  • Manage and coordinate the design effort of team reports to achieve satisfactory outcomes (project performance).
">Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant postgraduate engineering experience in engineering/construction environments.
  • Good knowledge and exposure in determining most suitable site layout, providing engineering input to design modelling of civil roads, drainage and siteworks, reviewing geotechnical reports, reviewing civil drawings and 3D models, determining loads and load combinations, performing modelling and analysis of soil-structure interaction and designing simple foundations, slabs on ground and retaining structures.
  • Possess ability to integrate seamlessly into a project team at any point during its lifecycle.
  • Possess ability to work unsupervised to achieve results.
  • General computer literacy skills.
  • Good knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards.
