Warehouse Operations Associate Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Operations Associate with a valid forklift license to assist with warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of goods.

This is a full-time position requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and storing incoming deliveries, operating a forklift to move and stack goods, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring inventory records are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries, accurately record inventory, and store them in the designated area.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move and stack goods as required.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels by tracking inventory movements and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits, verifying accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
Requirements:
  • Valid forklift license and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience as a Storeman or Warehouse Worker is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, physically fit, and able to work at heights (if required).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management, experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, education related to logistics or supply chain management is an asset.
