Employment Solutions Specialist

You will be part of a supportive team that provides guidance, training, and support to help job seekers develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workforce. This may involve working with stakeholders to identify employment opportunities, helping job seekers to create effective job plans, and delivering outstanding customer service to both job seekers and employers.

Your role will also involve building relationships with local employers and community organisations to promote employment opportunities and provide information about the services available to job seekers. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to increase employment outcomes for job seekers.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have access to comprehensive training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. They will be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with job seekers who may be facing significant challenges, and will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills and secure employment
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services
  • Create joint job plans to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
