Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the processes related to incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Picking, recording, and invoicing parts that are purchased and sold.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies in picking, packing, or damaged stock to the Parts Manager.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized.
- Stocking shelves and placing inventory in the correct locations.
- Assisting with stocktaking procedures, whether annual or ongoing, in accordance with company guidelines.
- Adhering to all opening and closing protocols to secure parts and store inventory.
- Upholding high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
- Handling the delivery and collection of goods.
- Maintaining a tidy and safe environment in both the store and yard.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Exceptional customer service skills with effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items and remain standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Certification to operate a forklift and proficiency in using other warehouse equipment.
- Self-driven, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment while following the branch manager's instructions.
This position entails a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a Saturday roster system of 1 to 2 per month potentially required.
