About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate or Senior Lawyer to join our Sydney Major Projects and Construction team, working closely with highly regarded partner Lina Fischer and other senior practitioners.

This role will see you acting for a wide range of public and private sector clients across the rail, road, water, renewables and building industries. You will be advising on the procurement, structuring and delivery of high value, complex major construction and infrastructure projects nationally. The team has an exemplary track record of leading on many of Australia's largest city-shaping construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience as a Senior Associate, with demonstrated front-end experience working on major construction projects, gained in a reputable law firm
  • Exceptional drafting skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • The ability to provide timely, accurate and commercially astute advice across multiple matters and deadlines
  • Experience and willingness in supervising and mentoring junior peers
  • Dedication and commitment to providing outstanding client service

About the Team

Our Band-1 ranked Major Projects and Construction team is one of the largest dedicated construction practices in the Asia Pacific region, working on some of the most significant infrastructure, construction, engineering and building projects in the region for public and private participants.

We advise the full spectrum of participants, from owners, developers and project sponsors to Federal, State and Local Government agencies, financiers, project managers, consultants and contractors.
