Senior Risk Manager

Shape the trajectory of our growth strategy by driving underwriting excellence and fostering strong relationships with brokers and clients in the Melbourne placement market and across Australia and the Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a senior technical underwriter, leveraging expertise in Property products to assess risks and make informed decisions.
- Analyse complex underwriting data, identify potential opportunities, and mitigate risks to ensure continued success and expansion.
- Build lasting relationships with major customers and brokers, establishing trust and delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
- Underwrite and price Property risks, determining acceptability in terms of catastrophe, risk, and compliance exposures.
- Prepare quotations and formal proposals on new and renewal business, ensuring timely and accurate documentation according to industry standards.
- Demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Display a comprehensive understanding of the Insurance Industry and its operational dynamics.
- Exhibit analytical skills necessary to evaluate complex or unusual risks within assigned lines.
- Prioritize relevant experience in Insurance – minimum 10 years. Ideally, Property and Commercial lines experience.
