Role Overview

We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Medical Technology Specialist. This role focuses on assisting in robotic-assisted surgery using cutting-edge technology.

Due to rapid growth and increasing demand for advanced surgical procedures, we are looking for an individual with strong clinical background and passion for medical innovation. Suitable backgrounds include:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support
  • Biomedical science/engineering
  • Medical device experience
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience

The ideal candidate will have confidence in surgical/theatre settings, be technically savvy with software and medical technology, passionate about improving patient lives, and excellent communicators who can build trust with surgeons and hospital teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across locations to support multiple sites.
