About the Role

Our Home and Community Service seeks a dedicated Home Care Worker to provide essential assistance to clients, aiding them in daily tasks to maintain independence and comfort at home. Responsibilities include personal care, medication assistance, transportation, domestic duties, and assisting clients to meet social needs.

About You

We require our Home Care Workers to be dedicated, reliable, and flexible. Key qualities include a fantastic attitude, genuine interest in helping others, and various hobbies such as sewing, gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking.

What We Look For:

  • A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Current driver's license and own, reliable vehicle
  • Immunisation against Tetanus & Hepatitis B
  • Completion of Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
  • Completion of Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain)
