Radiologist - Interventional Specialist

About the Role
The SA Medical Imaging consultant interventional radiologist is responsible for delivering high-quality Medical Imaging services to patients. This involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical and academic team to provide Tier B interventional radiology services at Flinders Medical Centre.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional leadership to clinical staff and supervising the teaching of radiology trainees, other staff, and medical students.
- Supporting quality improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient-centred care processes.
- Representing SA Medical Imaging at campus meetings and liaising with clinicians regarding service provision.
- Encouraging team cooperation amongst staff to optimise the level and diagnostic accuracy of the service provided.
