Everi Pty is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and management of adult patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough psychiatric assessments and developing individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
  • Providing expert clinical guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and trainees.
  • Participating in regular case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification, and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration.

Applicants nearing completion of Fellowship or the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent) will be considered.
