We are looking for a seasoned energy markets professional with extensive experience across Australia's evolving energy landscape. As an Energy Development Manager, you will work closely with leading energy investors, developers, governments, and market bodies to drive the country's clean energy future.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for originating PPAs that align with regulatory frameworks and making strategic decisions that impact Australia's energy ecosystem.
  • Develop and leverage complex power market models and financial analysis tools to inform multi-million dollar investment decisions.
  • Navigate economic regulations surrounding transmission/distribution assets and environmental products (LGCs, VEECs, ESCs, PRCs) with ease.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of PPA origination/negotiation, energy market regulatory frameworks, and Australia's energy landscape.
  • Proven track record developing market scenarios, procurement strategies, and corporate PPA processes that drive real commercial outcomes.
  • Mastery of the complexities of power systems, trading, and infrastructure advisory.
