About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Laborer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining high-quality landscapes for various projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of design and functionality. Sites include private schools, commercial properties, and residential areas.

Job Description

As a skilled tradesperson, you will execute various landscape construction tasks, including:

  • Turfing, paving, retaining walls, and planting.
  • Installing hardscapes such as pathways, patios, and water features.
  • Building timber structures and features, such as pergolas, decking, and fences.
  • Constructing brick and block structures.
  • Building and installing retaining walls to support landscape designs and prevent soil erosion.
  • Performing softscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and maintaining garden beds.

You will also operate and maintain construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Estimated Salary: AU$ 65,000 - AU$ 80,000 per annumRequired Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in landscape construction or a related field.
  • Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and machinery.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment.
